American Buttress thread gauges (7°/45°)

Buttress thread plug gage

Buttress threads are mainly used for transmission devices , and also can be used for Fastening connection . Buttress threads are non-symmetric threads, and The buttress form is used for translation of loads in one direction and combines the high efficiency and strength of the square thread with the ease of cutting and adjustment of the Acme thread. The load flank of the serrated thread is always in contact, while the non-loaded flank is always in the disengaged state. Buttress threads are mainly used in cylindrical structural parts, such as: artillery, aircraft propellers, hydraulic machine columns, etc.

We can produce kinds of Buttress thread ring gauges and plug gages for checking buttress threads.
